AWARD WINNING FINANCIAL CONSULTANT, EDUCATOR AND PODCAST HOST

HEY, I'M
Gina

Gina's story in her own words

As the visionary force behind The MMG, I empower women to stride confidently towards their financial aspirations. My mission revolves around equipping women with the tools and knowledge to chart their own paths to independence through financial education.

The approach taken by The MMG is holistic and comprehensive, covering a spectrum of essential topics including budgeting, adept debt management, credit cultivation, investment strategies, insurance know-how, mortgage eligibility, and beyond. This well-rounded education is perceived as the cornerstone enabling individuals to embrace a life enriched with financial abundance and countless prospects.

My money story:  I grew up in a traditional, strict, punjabi household. My biological father was never in the picture, growing up, I saw my mom struggle to make ends meet. My relationship with money was a mix between anxious and avoidant. I learnt from an early age that I needed to work hard for money in order to obtain it. At the age of 8, my mom remarried, life got a little easier because there were two incomes flowing into the household. However, my stepfather was an alcoholic. As I navigated through my teenage years, his alcoholism grew worse. At 18, I found myself in a compromising position where I was on the verge of homelessness. Something unheard of in the Punjabi culture. Luckily for me, my bestfriend's parent's took me in and helped me get back on my feet. I fell into a deep depression in my early twenties, as I struggled to navigate this new chapter of my life, on my own. Balancing a full time job, attending school full time and learning how to "adult" with new expenses like rent took a toll on me. I depleted through my hard earned savings, racked up debt, ruined my credit score and felt hopeless. The silver lining? At 22, I started a career in personal finance. I became financially educated and within a year, I became debt-free, rebuilt my credit score, started investing and PURCHASED my first property. When I was struggling I had no one to turn to. I created The MMG because I want to be the person, women turn to when they need a mentor and guidance. And I'm proud to say we're making strides in the industry. In 2023, The MMG empowered more than 500,000 women to make better financial decisions. A stat I'm SO proud of.

A FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT WOMAN IS A

POWERFUL WOMAN

"I took Gina's Investing 101 course and I am so glad that I did. They don't teach you this stuff in school but it's something that everyone should know. You don't need to know anything to take the course; she starts with the basics. This course helped me understand the types of investment vehicles and shed a lot of light my current investments. I would definitely recommend this course."
